All Ways Safe Agricultural Safety Awards Gain Support from DuPont Crop Protection, AgSafe Partnership

DuPont Crop Protection has partnered with AgSafe to present the first-ever All Ways Safe Agricultural Safety Awards, recognizing companies and individuals who demonstrate a dedication to protecting agricultural workers in California.
The collaborative effort between AgSafe and DuPont Crop Protection highlights the companies’ shared commitment to protecting the agricultural industry’s workforce. “Safety is at the heart of our core values,” said John Chrosniak, regional business director, North America, DuPont Crop Protection. “We continually strive to create and promote safe and healthy work environments for everyone in this industry while their daily work continues to feed the world.”

The All Ways Safe Agricultural Safety Awards will recognize two companies and two individuals. “The awards will honor those who have exceled in workplace safety and continue to run profitable, successful businesses,” said Amy Wolfe, president and CEO, AgSafe. “The awards are an opportunity for AgSafe to highlight the work of this industry while continuing to advocate for farmworker safety.” During the Feb. 21-24, 2012 AgSafe Conference in Monterey, Calif., one small company, with 50 or fewer employees, and one large company, with 51 or more employees, will be selected for the award as will one safety professional and one operations or production supervisor.
